Leather Cuff - Wheku Puhoro

This leather wrist cuff is a contemporary piece of wearable art emanating nostalgic charm. Drawing inspiration from design elements found in traditional Māori meeting houses and the intricate patterns of Tā moko. Seamlessly blending traditional aesthetics with modern flair. 

An intricately engraved Wheku set between two cut-out puhoro panels. Traditionally, the Wheku stood as guardian at the peak of meeting houses, watching over and safeguarding those deeply connected to the sacred amcestral home.  Original artwork created by Wiremu Barriball
